Start of summer Hawaii Kai meetup

For those who may have never been to an "official" dog park and for those who have and know how enjoyable they can be, we invite you to try out the Hawaii Kai Dog Park with us. The park was created by some very diligent and passionate dog lovers. Here is a link to their site. http://www.hui-ilio.o... Here are some things to consider:

It is an official "Off Leash" dog park with a nice section just for small dogs. But, the trees are small still so we are meeting early before the day gets too hot and the sun gets too high. There are a few benches and nice water fountains. Lots of parking is available. (Closest restroom is in nearby shopping complex--not walking distance.)

Anyway, please be aware of some of the city and county rules that govern the park: no dogs in heat, only two dogs per handler, no treats and/or food, dogs must be on leash while exiting/entering the park. We are meeting at the "small dog" park side--NOT the big-dog side. It should be a be a great casual meetup. Bring water for you and your pug and chairs.

No dues collected at this venue and no potluck. Dawn & Nate, our organizers, are hosting this meetup, I won't be there.
