City of Charleston Holiday Parade
Details
Come walk with your pug in the City of Charleston Holiday Parade this Sunday, Dec. 7th.
Janet Newham and I will be there at 2pm to check us in - we have the email required for check in. No one else needs to check in. Just go to Zone 2 on Ashley Avenue along Colonial Lake. There will be parade officials to direct you.
Reminders:
- The holiday theme is pugs as Santa's reindeer.
- No one should be dressed as Santa.๐ Adults should wear red or green.
- Remember poop bags and please pick up after your pet. ๐ฉ
- We have to keep up with the pace of the parade. Be prepared to pick up your pug if they are not keeping up. You do not need to bring one, but strollers or wagons are encouraged if your pug will ride in it. ๐ถ
They will start closing off the parade route at 1:45 and it will be totally closed at 2:45.
If possible, it works best if you can be dropped off, but everyone will need to work out how they are getting there and parking.
The parade starts at 3 pm on Rutledge and Broad Street and moves down Broad Street to Meeting Street. The parade continues down Meeting Street to Calhoun and ends there at Marion Square.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone and there pugs this Sunday! ๐งโ๐๐๐
