November Tree Talk: Yew

Details
This is our monthly space to discuss topics related to trees, nature spirituality, druidry and whatever else you may have in mind! Join us on the first Sunday of each month for discussion and guided meditation as we work with different tree allies and learn more about the fascinating world of trees.
For November, we will be looking at the yew tree, a tree that has featured prominently in the lore of several cultures (particularly within Norse and English tradition). Yews were often associated with death, but were also revered for their long life. We will be looking at the many layers surrounding this tree, both with the English yew and the native Pacific yew that is found in our area.
Our other topic(s) of discussion for the evening are TBD at this time. If there is a topic YOU would like to present, please feel free to let me know!!!
We will be meeting in person at Crescent Moon Gifts in Tacoma. A streamed Zoom option will also be provided (I will drop the link in the comments below before the meeting). We are going to see how a hybrid virtual-in person meetup works out. I am hopeful this will provide the best possible experience for those who would like to meet in person, while also meeting accessibility needs and the personal preferences of those who would like to remain virtual.
For those who decide to attend in person, there is ample free parking at this location and staff will be able to direct you to the classroom where we are meeting in the back of the store.
For virtual attendees- there will be no password for this particular event, but I will only be admitting folks into the room who have RSVP'ed or otherwise let me know that they will be attendance.
