A Children's book about a Pug

I don't mean to spam you, but I am reaching out to Pug peeps. I'm writing a children's book about my Pug, Ollie. My project is featured oh a collaborative funding site called I was hoping you could spread the word among your pug-minded friends. It's all-or-nothing funding, so if I don't make my goal, the project gets cancelled! Any contribution is awesome!

Here’s the awesome backstory:
My project is entitled "Not NOW, Ollie!" It's a vividly illustrated children's book about a bored Pug (named Ollie) and his owner (that's me). All Ollie wants is a little attention, but Jen's too distracted to play with him. Pugs already look sad, and a sad pug will break your heart.

This book, with simple language and playful cut-out images, is written for kids and pug fanatics of all ages. It explores the healing powers of the Pug-person relationship - and begs (HA!) the question, is anyone really ever too busy for anything?

I have pushed hundreds of kids to express themselves creatively in my career as a teacher. With this project, I am finally giving the artist and writer in me a chance to shine.

Secure transactions are done through amazon.

How can you support this project?

2. Pass it on
Forward this email along with a personal message to the animal/kid lovers in your life.

3. Show it off
Share this link on your twitter or facebook accounts.

4. Tweet! @OlliePug

The fine print:
You’ll have to create a kickstarter account (just creating a username and password - you can opt out for getting emails) - or sign in through facebook. This part is kind of annoying, I will admit. Transactions are made through Your card won’t be charged unless I reach my $5000 goal on Dec. 24. It’s all or nothing!

Thanks for indulging my longwindedness, and have a WONDERFUL holiday!
