About the topic - “You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” – Marcus Aurelius.

Join us to learn insights from the life of Marcus Aurelius—scholar, military leader, Roman Emperor, and Stoic philosopher of 2nd century AD Rome, who found strength amidst un certainities through daily reflections. Despite leading the empire amidst wars, betrayals and plague he ensured moments to retreat into his thoughts, penning reflections that reveal his pursuit of lofty ideals and his honest acknowledgment of imperfections.

Stoic philosophy originated in Ancient Greece around 2300 years ago, spread and flourished in the Roman Empire for hundreds of years, and these teachings are relevant and applicable even in our times today. In the month of June, join philosophers of New Acropolis Pune as we take a dose of wisdom from the life of the Stoics, extracting simple yet profound ideas that can help us meet daily life with inner stillness and serenity.
