Anyone who has heard me talk before should know that business agility is a journey (not a destination). But what may not be clear is that, while it's a corporate journey, it's also a personal one.

Throughout my career I have been many things. A satellite engineer (not what it sounds like), a library assistant (exactly what it sounds like), a koala (long story), a BI developer, and a manager amongst others. In all of these roles I have made mistakes and I have failed.

So which of those mistakes and failures brought me to business agility? And what did I learn along the way?

That's what I'm going to share with you in this presentation. Starting with how my arrogance made me a bad manager to the a-ha moment when I realised that agility could be anywhere - as long as I knew where the constraint was.
