Speaker: Dr. Girish Prabhu has 25+ years of experience in empathetic research, innovation, design, new product & business development, and product localization. His experience and expertise cover various domains such as education, healthcare, entertainment, and digital products & services. Girish has held various leadership and management positions in academics, new business development, research, and product commercialization at Srishti, Intel, HP, and Eastman Kodak, both in the US and India and was instrumental in implementing human-centered design and innovation frameworks in multiple product areas. With his deep understanding of local and international consumers and ecosystems, he regularly mentors design-led entrepreneurship and innovation projects and is passionate about bringing ideas to market as meaningful products. During his stints in the corporate world, he was a key player in conceptualizing three new businesses using human-centered innovation methods and was in leadership teams for two of these businesses. Girish has published refereed papers in international journals, holds 16 U.S. patents and is an invited speaker at both national and international conferences.
