Bio:
Yash Mayya, Senior Software Engineer, Confluent
Yash is a Senior Software Engineer at Confluent and has been working with the Kafka Connect team for the past 2½ years. The Kafka Connect team at Confluent focuses on creating and maintaining various source and sink connectors in the Kafka Connect ecosystem as well as building out Connect on Confluent Cloud. Yash is passionate about building distributed systems and solving challenging problems that come with scale. Yash is also a contributor to the Connect framework in the open-source Apache Kafka project.
Chaitanya Mukka, Senior Software Engineer, Confluent
Chaitanya is a Senior Software Engineer at Confluent and has been working with the Kafka Connect team for the past 3 years. Chaitanya has worked on developing several connectors as well as improving monitoring and security of Connect on Confluent Cloud. He also has a background in theoretical mathematics and is always in search of problems in software that need formal definitions and novel solutions. He is excited about data, distributed systems and cloud-native solutions.
