Authentication and authorization in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) often becomes complex due to the integration and lack of complete documentation - especially since it is having separate Kubernetes RBAC, Azure Active Directory, and Azure role-based access control.
In this session, I will demystify these layers by breaking them down into clear, actionable components with practical examples. I will explore how identity works in AKS, walk through real-world access scenarios, and show you exactly who gets access to what—and how.
Also, I will show with a DevOps pipeline sample. You’ll also gain insights into best practices for managing access securely in production environments, including the principle of least privilege, role scoping, integration patterns.
