Session 02:
Title: Using MCP: What is it? The concept behind, how to use it with its object model
Description: MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI systems connect to external tools, apps, files, and APIs through a single, universal interface. It exists to solve the problem of every AI model needing custom integrations for each tool—MCP replaces that with one shared protocol that works everywhere. In practice, MCP allows AI to safely access real‑time data (like calendars, databases, or codebases) and perform actions through “servers” that expose resources and tools. Users benefit automatically when their AI assistant uses MCP behind the scenes, while developers can build MCP servers to let AI interact with their systems in a consistent, plug‑and‑play way.
