Puppy Socialization Club: West Side (Culver City w/Harmony & Meghan)
Details
Puppy Socialization Club! Come play with Harmony & Meghan!
Give your puppy the best start with our trainer-led puppy socialization playgroup in Santa Monica / Marina del Rey. These small-group sessions are designed to help your pup build confidence, practice calm on-leash play, and explore the world in a safe, supportive environment.
What to Expect
- Structured Introductions – guided on-leash greetings so puppies learn polite, calm ways to meet.
- Purposeful Play & Exploration – supervised, on-leash play with trainer coaching to keep interactions positive and balanced.
- Mini Adventures – a short walk or exploration of new sights, sounds, smells, surfaces, and people so your pup learns to adapt with curiosity instead of fear.
- Q&A Time – bring your puppy questions! With a small group, there’s plenty of time for trainer support.
Why On Leash?
This session is intentionally on-leash to provide structure, reduce overwhelm, and allow trainers to shape interactions in real time. It’s not a free-for-all like the dog park — it’s curated, guided, and safe.
On-leash sessions help puppies:
- Learn self-regulation during social time.
- Develop resilience when encountering new stimuli.
- Build confidence in real-world environments.
✨ Off-leash puppy playgroups will be added in the future for those who’d like to continue their pup’s education in different settings.
The Benefits of Puppy Socialization
Puppies learn best through purposeful exposure and repetition. In these sessions, your pup will:
- Safely experience new sights, smells, and sounds to prevent future fears.
- Build confidence around other dogs and people.
- Develop social skills through guided peer interaction.
- Strengthen the human–dog bond with positive shared experiences.
- Make new puppy friends — and puppy friends are the cutest 🐶💕.
What to Bring
- Puppy under 1 year old (with up-to-date vaccines).
- Secure harness and 6–8 ft leash (no retractables).
- Plenty of high-value treats.
- Water & bowl.
- Small blanket or mat for downtime.
