Please join Puppy Mill Awareness and supporters at the next Utica City Council Meeting to begin the debate over whether the animals imported from out-of -state commercial breeders is ethical, humane and in the best interested of families who will bear the burden of veterinary expenses.
The City Council members meet in the Council Chambers in the same building as the Police Department and next door to the Library. The public is allowed to speak at the end of the meeting (3 mins each).
Mayor Noonan and City Council Members need to hear from concerned Utica
residents or families who have purchased sick animals from pet stores.
Educating community leaders is one way to stop the pipeline of puppies from
puppy farms.
