About the event
Passing an interview is merely one of many prerequisites for being a successful software engineer, but it is an important one, and very much worth being well-prepared. There is no single way to prepare for a technical interview or land a high paying job in a tech company, it can be extremely useful to turn to a mentor for advice. Martin will draw from his considerable personal experience and share his unique method of preparation for such interviews. You will be sure to pick up some valuable (not just related to programming) tips and tricks along the way.

About the speaker
Martin Vojtek is currently a member of the Pure as a Service team at Pure Storage. He is a software engineer with almost twenty years of professional experience who has also worked in other industries, including finance and telco. In addition, he has also progressed through different roles - from software engineer, to a CTO of a few startup companies, to management and finally back to engineering. He has been involved in many technical interviews, both as an applicant and as a hiring manager.
