What is the Zuiderzee Museum?
Located between the IJsselmeer and historic Enkhuizen, this open-air folk museum recreates life along the former Zuiderzee (now IJsselmeer) through authentic village streets, working craft workshops, shops, churches, farms, and even a windmill and harbour.

Inside, the indoor exhibition "Sea of Stories" offers an immersive, interactive journey through the lives of the people who lived here before and after the Afsluitdijk dramatically transformed their lives.
