Codebeez Hackathon: DevOps Security Challenge

This Hackathon we will have an adrenaline-pumping technical competition, where you DevOps engineers and security professionals will race against each other to achieve Global Administrator privileges using the Microsoft Graph API! The first one to successfully and safely escalate to Global Admin wins! This hands-on hackathon combines technical skills, creative thinking, and speed.

The race:

• Each participant gets their own user account.
• Starting point: Standard user with basic permissions.
• Goal: Achieve Global Administrator status.
• Time is of the essence - fastest elevation wins!
• All techniques must be documented for validation.

Technical Focus:

• Service principal manipulation.
• API permission exploitation.
• Role assignment automation.
• PowerShell scripting wizardry.
• Graph API mastery.

• 09:30 The hackathon kicks off.

• 16:00 End of the hackathon and time for some drinks.

Easy to reach by ferry behind Amsterdam Central Station, Ferry F3 to Buiksloterweg, goes every 5-10 minutes, takes less than 5 minutes to get to the Noord side. From there it is a 15 mins walk to the office.

Parking around the office is payed till 19:00 and costs 1,60EUR/hour.
