PyData Belagavi Meetup #2: Workshop on Deep Learning with Google Colaboratory

Details

Google Colaboratory is a free, in-the-browser, collaborative programming environment that provides an interactive and easy to use platform for deep learning researchers and engineers to work on their data science projects.
This workshop focuses on use of Google Colab by participants who don’t know where to start. The workshop will provide with a very simple guide to get the participants rolling with their data science projects and research ideas. The participants don’t need any knowledge of notebook technology, and all they need is a little python programming. Even if the participants have used Colab before, there is something for them to learn as well. The following topics cover concepts related to use of Google Colab using examples from Deep Learning.

• Introduction to Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN)
• Using 1-D and 2-D CNN for specific applications
• Launching a Google Colab Notebook
• Markdown
• Importing Data
• Inline Commands
• Cloning
• GPU all the Way!
• Get Introduced to TPUs!
