Mike WoodwardTitle: Use Cursor to Build Data Apps: Unsticking AI Code Gen
You know you should do the “AI thing” but it’s not quite working the way you want. You feel behind the curve but aren't sure what to do to catch up. Sound familiar? For coding, adopting AI roughly follows this “trajectory of frustration”:
AI is a burden; it just writes spaghetti code.
I am stuck all day reviewing & refactoring AI code.
It just keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over.
AI is good, but not great. What am I missing? If you’re anywhere on this trajectory, this meetup is for you. We’ll use Cursor and “building a dashboard” as an example to go through the different levels of using AI to code. For each level we’ll explain the knobs to tweak that will “unlock” the next level.
You will leave knowing what to do next to better use AI. All that’s left is you doing the doing
