Competition Details:
This competition is all about having people tackle interesting questions using open data and sharing what they learn/develop with the broader community.
To be eligible for this competition you must:
- Be an individual (no multi-person teams, please!)
- Make use of some form of open data or open source tools
- Be willing to share your results with the community
Individuals who sign up on this form will be entered into the competition and potentially present their results at PyData's March event with a chance to win a free ticket to the Open Data Science Conference in April (https://odsc.com/boston/) among other prizes.
The first 50 entrants will also receive a free ticket to ODSC East's Expo Hall (https://odsc.com/boston/odsc-aiexpo/)
Presentations will be short (5-7 minutes) explanations of the project. More details about the presentation and selection of presenters will be emailed to participants.
Winners will be selected by a panel of judges from local organizations (TBD).
We're asking all competitors to provide us with a bit of information so that we have some idea of the profile and type of projects they're taking on.
