For the third PyData Cluj event, 2 machine learning oriented presentations are scheduled.
This event will be hosted with the support of Telenav.

"Dimensionality reduction" by Ioan Moldovan
A tour of dimensionality reduction techniques, from PCA to autoencoders. An attempt is made, without going too deep into implementation details, to produce an overview of what dimensionality reduction algorithms are available, why to use them and when to use them.

"Using Tensorflow for Optical Character Recognition Description" by Bogdan Gliga
In this talk, we'll discuss about the deep learning solution we use at Telenav for performing OCR, which is based on Tensorflow. We'll go into details about the architecture we used, how we trained it and how we deployed it at scale.

PyData is all about exchange of knowledge and ideas so apart from these 2 presentations, there will be time to talk and interact with attendees and speakers.
