Finally it's our turn to talk LLMs and using them in practice!
Come join us at Pydata Copenhagen!
Agenda:
18:00 Arrive, hang out, get some snacks, beer, soda
18:30 Pizza time!
19:00 Augmented retrieval in technical domains: challenges and opportunities of LLMs in action.
Lorenzo Colone - Senior Data Scientistr at Alfa Laval
Alfa Laval is a global equipment manufacturer for a broad spectrum of industrial processes. As the business increasingly shifts toward remote service support for its extensive customer base, the internal organization is experiencing a higher volume of technical inquiries.
These queries eventually end up in someone's inbox, leading to a challenging process of manually retrieving or generating plausible explanations, often overwhelming in its workload. One step in this process is to be able to quickly access technical knowledge or to simply verify whether a given problem has already been handled by other colleagues in the past.
The idea of troubleshooting according to official manuals and available internal documentation, although compelling, is not complete, due to a lack of unconventional resolutions that customers may encounter globally. Thus, the troubleshooting process currently heavily relies on internal technical knowhow and experience.
How can we help the organization troubleshoot customer issues faster and cheaper by leveraging the latest technologies in language models?
20:00 More socializing, discussing/trying what we learned
22:00 Doors close
Sponsors: We have to remember to thank our sponsors!
NumFocus for sponsoring the meetup.com costs!
Special thanks to Alm Brand for sponsoring the location and Alfa Laval for sponsoring food and drinks!
