Our speaker, Nick Sorros, CTO and Founder of MantisNLP will give us a tour of Large Language Models.

Abstract

Since ChatGPT launched, admittedly it has been hard to keep up with all Large Language Models that are being released on a weekly if not daily basis. From Alpaca to Vicuna, MPT, Falcon, Llama, Mistral all the way to Wizarm LM, Orca, phi and Zephyr, Notus, this is only a subset of the open source LLM released last year. Let’s spend some time to look all these models, how are they are different but also similar to each other as well as develop a framework to help us keep up with all models that will come in the near future.

•⁠ ⁠Discuss the key dimension that makes all those models different
•⁠ ⁠Develop a framework to place a model together with other similar models
•⁠ ⁠Develop an intuitive understanding of what makes an LLM better
