What we’re about
Anybody that appreciates the PyData/NumFOCUS mission - Bringing the world of open source data science & scientific users together! - is greatly appreciated to join our meetup group and if you can and want, you are more than welcome to help out in some way to make our meetups happen and improve!
The level of the talks (advanced, intermediate, moderate), will be decided by the community. PyData tutorials and talks bring attendees the latest project features along with cutting-edge use cases.
We wish to have interesting talks in a friendly and informal setting with snacks/food and refreshments, so that people have a reason to stay and get to know each other.
Please contact us if you can provide a room, interesting talks, food, drinks, or alike. You or whom you are associated with could also become an official sponsor (with a little banner, link, and mention during meetups) of our group!
About PYDATA
PyData brings together both users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The goals are to provide data science enthusiasts, across various domains, a place to discuss how best to apply languages and tools to the challenges of data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. We are focused around the Python ecosystem, but are also open to other languages and relevant topics that may help to better solve the evolving challenges in data management, processing, analytics, and visualization.
PyData groups, events, and conferences aim to provide a venue for users across all the various domains of data analysis to share their experiences and their techniques. PyData is organized by NumFOCUS.org, a 501(c)3 non-profit in the United States.
