To ensure a welcoming and inclusive community we expect all attendees to respect the PyData code of conduct, which in short means be nice. :) Also, to make sure our community is as diverse as possible, we will prioritize people from underrepresented groups in case the event has a waiting list. Let us know if you should be prioritized.
Session 1: Could PyData help to win the AED 1 million Global Prompt Engineering Championship?
Description: https://challenge.dub.ai/en/
Session 2: Building a personal data warehouse with SQLite and Datasette
Description:
Facing limitations with your current toolbox in handling diverse data formats and visualization for personal analytics? In this session dive into SQLite's capabilities for a productive personal data analysis platform, needing no database server. This will then be complemented with Datasette, a Python app that layers over SQLite for browser-based querying and extension plugins.
Cheers,
Faz
PS: We are currently looking for more folks interested in giving talks (25 mins) or lighting talks (5 mins) at the meetup. This can be anything related to the broader PyData ecosystem, any new cool thing you are working on (please no selling of proprietary products), something interesting you discovered while going through the internals of an open source library.
To get a rough idea about the kind of talks we are looking for you can go through the various talks available at youtube.com/@PyDataTV
Please submit your proposals here: https://forms.gle/3ZBNkEWMbXc6eHt29
PPS: Please only RSVP if you can attend the event, if something comes up at the last minute please cancel your RSVP.
PPPS: We are also looking for hosts for the meetup, if your company/co-working space/university is interested in hosting a group of python professionals for the meetup, please do reach out!
