Abstract: Nowadays companies are processing huge amounts of data, it's one of the things that enables them to build models and products around them. I want to show you that you can take your own data into your own hands and create something incredibly useful with that. I will show you how I connected multiple of-the-shelf tools to create a tool that helps me track my cats health, and at the same time get better at my day job.

Bio: I am a hacker, developer, ML engineer. I lover to tinker and solve hard problems.

Abstract: In this day and age industries depend on the information. For industries such as construction and infrastructure, mining and oil and gas, extracting the right data about the subsurface can draw a border between profitable and loss-making projects. With our innovative tool for subsurface analysis we are eager to support them in their struggle. Our Spectral Ground Penetrating Radar is a convergence of technologies from our innovative approach to radar with advanced signal processing using deep learning. To make all of that happen we migrate from single to multi-cloud solution to support our constantly changing environment. During the transformation we had faced couple of challenges that I would like to share along with: - DEMO How to set up a data warehouse as a multi-cloud solution and why is it worth the effort? - Which Infrastructure as Code solution suits our needs - Should we avoid manual steps in the automatic Machine Learning pipeline? - Can we use lambda aliases to differentiate between dev and prod environment?

Bio: Senior Data Scientist, CI/CD best practices evangelist, and a trainer. Currently creating a Cloud-based analytical platform at Widmo.tech to bring subsurface analysis into the digital age. He is passionate about Big Data building blocks, Spark lover, and Machine Learning enthusiast. His primary interest is to answer a question: how can we augment humankind and industries with Deep Learning and AI?
