Contributing to SafeRoute: Getting Started with Open Source

There is a lot to cover as we continue building SafeRoute, so please join us for our upcoming session.

For our newcomers, and as a refresher for the rest of the community, this session will focus on how to start contributing to SafeRoute as an open source project. We will walk through the basics of getting set up, understanding the codebase, and finding meaningful ways to contribute.

This project is centered on improving safety for individuals across Lagos State and potentially all of Nigeria, by providing data-driven insights that can make transit safer and more reliable.

We have one goal: to build a solution that puts safety at the forefront through open collaboration.
