1️⃣ Code AI: Reimagining Software Development with Generative Models - Paige Bailey
Paige Bailey is a Lead Product Manager for Generative Models at Google DeepMind. Prior to returning to the DeepMind team, Paige spent just over a year at Microsoft as Director of Machine Learning and MLOps at GitHub, working on projects like GitHub Codespaces and Copilot. As a former applied ML engineer (in Azure Research, Chevron, and on NASA projects), Paige can’t imagine a more exciting charter than accelerating developer productivity with machine learning, and unlocking the capabilities of these models for users.

2️⃣ Web Scraping Your Government with Python - Antonio Feregrino
Learn how to create an automated web scraper using Python and GitHub Actions.

Logistics
Doors open at 6.30 pm (get there early as you have to sign-in via building security), talks start at 7 pm, drinks from 9 pm in the bar. We will have reduced capacity for this event but there will be plenty of people to discuss data science questions with!
