Title: Mars: a new approach to accelerate data science

Abstract / 摘要:
Mars 是一个 100% 开源项目,目标是通过并行和分布式的方式加速数据科学。仅通过简单的 import 替换,就可以加速基于 Numpy、Pandas 和 Scikit-learn 的代码。本演讲会从 Mars 诞生的背景入手,介绍 Mars 试图解决什么问题,Mars 解决的效果如何,以及 Mars 背后的设计哲学。
Mars is an open-source project which aims at accelerating data science by leveraging techniques of parallelism and distributed systems. Users can migrate their codes based on Numpy, Pandas and Scikit-learn to Mars smoothly by simple import replacement. This talk will include the background of starting Mars project, and what problems Mars wants to solve, the benchmark, as well as the design philosophy behind Mars.

Abstract / 摘要:
Abstract: Lfdnn (learning from data neural network) is a neural network library implemented in pure Python. It contains the backbone of what a neural network library requires and intends to help people for better understanding of the mechanism of neural network. In this talk, I will introduce the background of lfdnn project, the principles of neural network by using lfdnn, as well as the design philosophy behind lfdnn.
摘要:Lfdnn (learning from data neural network)是一个用纯Python实现的神经网络库。 它仅包含神经网络库最核心的部分,旨在帮助人们更好地理解神经网络的机制。 在本演讲中,我将介绍lfdnn项目的背景,结合lfdnn的实现讲述神经网络的工作原理以及lfdnn的设计思路
