Everyone knows that there is no real multithreading in Python - or is there? The tradeoffs between processes and threads is well known. But what if we could have the best of both worlds? This is where subinterpreters come in. We will go over what subinterpreters are, how they work, and most importantly, how we can use them to make our code faster.

We will also go deeper into Python’s internals and explore what a GIL-less Python looks like. The “freethreaded” builds of Python are easily accessible - but are there drawbacks?

After that, we can have a quick chat and enjoy some drinks and pizza (provided by SiteGround)

Lyuboslav Karev has 6 years of experience with anything Python related - web development, automation, AI and Machine Learning. In his current role at SiteGround, he works on Coderick AI - an AI-powered coding platform, which allows its users to create and host sites, business tools, and apps. In his free time, he is part of the Python course in Sofia University.
