PyData SWFL: Project & Code Review, Data Transformations

Details
We're excited to announce our second PyData SWFL event! We're looking forward to seeing you there, building a community here in SWFL, and hopefully learning some things!
Event:
If you work with data on a regular basis, like creating reports, performing analysis, or logging records. You have probably experienced messy data, in various formats, riddled with errors, and in multiple files. Cleaning and transforming the data just to be ready for the task can be frustrating and time-consuming. And if you do the same kind of data transformations regularly, it can beneficial to standardize/automate the task in Python.
In this event, we'll review a Python project for cleaning and transforming data to be used for "process mining." We'll review the project objectives, the approach to solve it, how it was written in python, and how you can use a similar approach for other data transformation projects of your own.
Location:
Virtual, Zoom link provided after RSVP
Agenda:
- 5:30 pm - 5:50 pm: Introductions and Ice Breakers
- 5:50 pm - 6:50 pm: Project & Code Review
- 6:50 pm - 7:00 pm: Wrap Up and Announcements
