Title: Data and machine learning are transforming your organization's health

Presentation Overview:
This presentation by Hernani and Filipe of Durham-based Peoplelogic will guide you through how they use exhaust data from hundreds of cloud tools to help companies better understand their people and drive positive organizational health. They'll cover topics like:

• The concept of metadata and how it differs from data
• Sources of data from remote and hybrid organizations
• What a typical data pipeline looks like and the data tools and repositories used
• How Machine Learning models can be used to help make HR and People teams more strategic.

They will also explore the importance of using the data responsibly and ethically and how to ensure that it is for the benefit of every employee in an organization.

Bio:
Hernani Cerqueira is CTO of Peoplelogic. Ingrained with a deep passion for designing and building scalable software that serves millions of users, Hernani was one of the original architects of DZone’s AnswerHub platform that helped companies such as Microsoft, IBM and SAP deliver a superior experience to their developer communities. He has worked with startups worldwide, helping them achieve scale and reach new markets.

Filipe Manso is a data scientist with a passion for creating innovative tools to help people leaders. His journey began in civil construction, but his drive for innovation led him to pursue a career in data science. At Peoplelogic, he has been able to combine his passion for tech and helping others by developing a tool that can help companies optimize their organizational health.
