About AI bias – gender gap by Marta Lewczuk:
Artificial Intelligence is a widely used in many different areas and will have more and more impact on our lives. Unfortunately it’s not neutral. AI systems are trained on vast databases that often reflects historical inequalities, including the gender data gap.
Let’s explore where AI bias come from, how it can be detected and addressed. Based on real life examples I’ll show what risks we face if AI-driven systems continue scaling without proper safeguards. Join us to reflect on how to build more inclusive AI!
Marta Lewczuk – Working in Nordea, experienced in RPA, Agile and Test Management. Alongside professional work, actively involved in gender equality initiatives. In the past Diversity & Inclusion representative, currently active member of ERG (Employee Resource Group) for Gender Equality.
About Beyond Vibe Coding: Building an Agentic "Product Brain" for Engineering Teams by Marcin Pasinski:
This talk explores the shift from unpredictable, informal coding to clear, AI-powered software development. Instead of viewing AI as a simple tool, it explains how to build a workflow where AI truly understands your code. Key takeaways include:
- How Northern.tech moved from scattered AI scripts to a standardized way for AI using tools like Claude Code.
- How we changed our AI from a simple helper with no memory to a smart partner that understands context, using Google Cloud.
- How to combine 'Semantic Memory' (tracking reasons behind choices in Jira/GitLab) with 'Structural Memory' (automatic snapshots of how the code is built now), so AI can give safe, accurate, and consistent advice.
Marcin Pasinski - Head of Engineering @ Northern.tech .
Marcin is an engineering leader with nearly 20 years of software development experience. He leads engineering teams at Northern.tech, creators of mender.io and CFEngine. Marcin is deeply passionate about software craftsmanship and enjoys building products from the ground up. He focuses on transparent processes, empowering developers, and balancing culture with high-quality delivery. His current mission is to integrate advanced, AI-assisted workflows into daily engineering life. The goal is to boost productivity, remove roadblocks, and help teams build products customers love.
