Docling has been making waves by being a very popular Python library for enabling various kinds of document types to be ingested by AI models.

During this event, some of Docling's core developers, Panos Vagenas and Michele Dolfi from IBM Research, will assist you in contributing to docling!

Concretely, every participant will be given open issues to work on. We will of course also have drinks and food, kindly sponsored by QuantCo.

As always, we welcome new contributors. For beginners in Open Source, we will have a beginners' table where you can make your first pull request on GitHub.

Schedule
- 18.00: Welcome, networking, drinks and food
- 18.30: Sponsor presentation, docling presentation
- 19.00: Coding
- 21.30: End of the event, drinks nearby for those who want to join

Preparation
You'll need to have a GitHub account, bring your own laptop and and have a development environment already set up. You can create the docling development environment following their instructions.
