Guest Speaker: Simon Willison on State of AI and Python

Hello everyone,

I’m excited to announce the revival of the PyHawaii Meetup group!

Our next event will be on **Thursday April 11th from 5-8pm** at the Entrepreneur’s Sandbox. Food and drinks will be provided. For this event, we have a very special guest speaker: Simon Willison will be joining us via Zoom.

(Note, the event is in-person and will not have a zoom link for attendees).

- Note: doors are locked but we’ll have someone there from 5 to about 5:30pm. Please arrive before 5:30pm.

- 7:05 - 7:35 lightning talks from community

Lighting talks:
In every PyHawaii meetup, we will feature community members working with Python via Lightning Talks. Each talk will be at most 5 minutes. Submit your Lightning talk proposal here. If selected, we will contact you for more details. All topics and slides must be pre-approved.

Proposals can be announcements, showcasing a new library or product, job openings, or anything that’s “here’s what I’m working on”. The goal is to improve networking and opportunities for discovery of everything related to Python here in Honolulu.
