LPTHW Beginner Meetup

Are you brand new to Python? We're going to start meeting every other week to go through Zed Shaw's Learn Python the Hard Way. It's free and you can find it right here:

Please work to try to complete exercises 21-30. Don't be intimidated... most of these lessons don't contain new information: they're just practice. If you can't finish, don't worry, still come. We'll work out any issues together.

If you have another book you'd rather work through, the topics covered this week will be: functions, logic/boolean, if/else statements.

NOTE: if you have a bit more of experience in Python and like to help people, also come... some TAs could definitely help :D

NOTE 2: I can't actually make this date, but Margaret will be taking over.

NOTE 3: This is not the right meetup to come if you are brand new to Python and haven't done the previous lessons (or covered similar topics in another book). We'll restart this series in late fall if you missed the beginning.
