Getting started with Rasa

Details
Getting started with Rasa with Yenny Cheung and Lu Kalkbrenner
Rasa (https://rasa.com) is a conversational AI framework that allows you to train an AI assistant. In this workshop, we will do some hands-on work to build a bot. We will leverage conversation-driven development, and explore concepts like intents, actions, and stories together. No prior experience needed.
# Yenny Cheung: Originally from Hong Kong, Yenny is an engineering manager at Rasa, where she is learning how to make Open Source Conversation AI accessible to all.
She cares about building an inclusive environment for teams and communities with a "People first" approach. She enjoys the thrill of public speaking and meeting like-minded people along the way.
You can find her on Twitter (https://twitter.com/YennyCheung) and at conferences on leadership and Python.
#Lu Kalkbrenner is a computer science student from TU Berlin focussing on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. They’ve been working as a teaching assistant at TU Berlin before and currently work as a Software Engineering Working Student at Rasa. They are interested in Diversity & Inclusion in Tech and are also hosting a biweekly meetup for female, inter, nonbinary and trans students at TU Berlin.

We follow the LadyNerds Code of Conduct (http://bit.ly/LadyNerds-CoC ) because we are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and harassment-free space and experience for all members and guests, regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, socioeconomic status, body size, ethnicity, nationality, level of experience, age, or religion (or lack thereof). The Code of Conduct exists because of that dedication. We do not tolerate harassment in any form and we prioritise marginalised people’s safety over privileged people’s comfort.
