Hei PyLadies, we are repeating the success of last year and will end the year with another Christmas workshop. We'll be at the Bouvet offices where we will use Python to draw Christmas decorations and turn them into physical decorations by printing them on paper or even embroider them onto fabric. If you’ve ever wanted to decorate your Christmas tree in a nerdy way using Python, this is the meetup for you! It’s also really beginner friendly so it’s a fun way to practice Python skills if you're a beginner!

Bring your laptop (or a friend with a laptop), and we’ll bring the rest :)

You don’t need to be a PyLadies member to attend (but if you want to be, here is the link: https://members.pyladies.com/).

  • 17:00: Mingling with Pizza
  • 17:45: Using Python and Turtle to draw patterns
  • 18:25: Embroidery machines and craft cutters: tips and tricks
  • 18:35-21:00: Christmas workshop: make your own decorations 🎄
