PyLadies and R-Ladies are hosting another event together! This time, we will delve into the beauty of data visualization and explore how easy it is to transfer the logic of ggplot2 to the world of Python using plotnine 🎨

✨ Bringing your plots to cloud nine with {Plotnine} ✨
Our workshop is focused on exploring how to create and customize enticing visuals using plotnine in Python -- a visualization library very similar to R's ggplot2. By the end of the workshop, users will be familiar with basic plotnine concepts and create a total of 2 visuals using data provided by #TidyTuesday.

Tanya Shapiro (she/her) is a freelance analyst and content creator with a passion for data visualization. For the past five years she has worked in a number of data roles within the insurance industry, using both R and Python. When she’s not working on data projects, you can find her working out on her Peloton or exploring downtown St. Petersburg, Florida!
