Join us for a casual non-technical outdoor picnic with fellow PyLadies in one of Vancouver's beautiful city park. Family, friends, and furfriends are welcome to join. 😊

It’s been a while since we last met, and the pandemic has slowed us down.
We’re ready to restart the PyLadies Vancouver group again. Let’s use this opportunity to get reacquainted. Learn about our community and meet other community members.

Whether this is your first time hearing about PyLadies Vancouver, or have been a community member for years, you’re welcome to join.

=== ABOUT PYLADIES ===
WE ARE a group of women developers worldwide who love the Python programming language. We write code by day or night. Some of us hack on Python projects on the side, while others work full-time on Python development. But it doesn't matter. We all just like writing Python code, and that's what brings us together.

Learn more about us here https://www.pyladies.com/about/

We’re collaborating with R-Ladies too, and they will be joining us to share information about their community.

=== BEGIN R-LADIES BIO ===
R-Ladies is a global non-profit organization encouraging, inspiring and empowering people to become contributors and leaders in the R programming community ([https://rladies.org/).](https://rladies.org/).)
Our mission is to create a friendly, inclusive and diverse community for people who code or would like to learn how to code in R in the Vancouver area. As a community, we focus on giving opportunities, mentorship and voice to underrepresented groups in the programming realm.
Videos of your past events can be found here https://m.youtube.com/@r-ladiesvancouver2962
