Introduction to BioPython

Details

Lets meet during May for an unique workshop.
Our awesome PyLady Kseniya Khamina will explain basics of Biology, DNA, RNA and then dive into usage of specific packages for analysis of sequences in Python.

Workshop is dedicated to complete Python beginners who are interested in Biology, as well as Biology enthusiast keen to explore basics of Python. We will start with explanation of terms, bits of biology background and package installation. After that we will go directly into data manipulation, DNA - RNA translation and end up with interesting visualisations.
For optimal hands on experience, we recommend to install Jupyter Notebook in advance - if you have trouble with that, we can try to help.
