Creative Coding with Christine Gertsch 🧑🎨
Collab Space at Zentralbibliothek, Zentralbibliothek, Zähringerplatz 6, 8001 Zürich, Zürich, CHDear PyLadies Zurich,
We are very excited to announce our first 2026 meetup: Creative coding with interdisciplinary designer Christine Gertsch 🎉
This time, we will look at Python coding from a designer's perspective, namely in the form of creative coding.
Christine will show us how she uses code to create visual worlds, what role randomness plays in this process, and how creative coding can be used as a teaching method. After the talk, let's dive deeper into the topic in a lively discussion.
No coding knowledge is required to follow the talk 😉
We will meet at the collab space of Zentralbibliothek Zürich. After the talk and discussion, anyone who would like to is welcome to join us for a drink at Café Zähringer next door 🍻
Agenda:
18:00 arrival
18:15 talk and discussion
19:15 wrap up
19:30 optional: drink at Café Zähringer
All genders welcome!
We expect all participants of our meetup to abide by the PyLadies code of conduct: http://www.pyladies.com/CodeOfConduct/
Looking forward to our discussions and connections in the new year 💫14 attendees
