Join us for an in-person Open Source Sprint at the Adyen office in Amsterdam, organized by PyLadies in collaboration with the Amsterdam MLOps Community.
This event is all about hands-on contributing to open source. Whether you’ve never opened a pull request before or you’re already comfortable navigating larger codebases, there will be something for you to work on.
What’s the focus?
We’ll be contributing to MLOps-related open source libraries, with a particular focus on projects such as:
- Kedro
- MLflow
A curated list of issues will be available, including:
- Good first issues for newer contributors
- More advanced issues for experienced engineers who want a challenge
How the sprint works
- Work individually or team up with others
- Maintainers and experienced contributors will be around to help unblock you
- Learn how to navigate a real open source project: issues, codebase, pull requests, and reviews
- There will be prizes for selected contributions during the sprint.
Who should attend?
- Python developers curious about open source
- Data scientists and ML engineers interested in MLOps tooling
- Anyone who wants to learn how to contribute in a supportive, collaborative environment
Location
Adyen Office, Amsterdam
What to bring
- Your laptop
- A GitHub account
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn
Whether your goal is to make your first open source contribution or to ship something meaningful to production-grade libraries, you’re very welcome.
