TALK 1: Understanding Load and Stress Testing in Python Applications by Yasmin Khalil
(15m) This talk delves into the nuances of evaluating your application's performance under both expected conditions and extreme pressures. Through practical examples, discover how to accurately measure capacity, pinpoint bottlenecks, and anticipate failure points. Whether you're simulating everyday usage with thousands of concurrent users or pushing the envelope to its breaking point, learn how to gather actionable insights that ensure your systems remain robust and responsive, even under the most demanding conditions.

About Yasmin Khalil
Yasmin is a Software Engineer at Pinterest, where she's been contributing to the Growth team for the past seven months. Before that, she spent three years at Amazon building scalable systems, and a year at a software house, gaining hands-on experience across diverse projects. With a solid foundation in backend engineering and a passion designing efficient systems.
Outside the tech world, she has passion for sports, especially water ones. She also loves art and fashion.

TALK 2: How to Make Tech Debt Work for You by Alessandro Maggio
(15m) Technical Debt is not something abstract. We can measure it. In this talk I want to change the way you see technical debt, so that you can control it and even use it to your advantage.

About Alessandro Maggio
I have 8+ years in the tech sector, creating solutions that scale. I worked in consulting in Italy and the US on cybersecurity for manufacturing, started a Web Agency serving small businesses, had two startup experiences (one bad, one good).
