**Abstract:**
Have you ever gone through the process of switching from a monolith to microservices?
If so, you probably know how complex and time consuming this process can be.
I’ll be sharing the various solutions that my team and I came up with to overcome our challenges and obstacles so that you can implement these lessons into your own code/process.

Iris has been at Lightricks for five years, starting as a Backend Engineer and progressing to an Engineering Manager, now leading a team of eight Engineers split between the Lightricks offices’ in Israel and London. Prior to Lightricks, Iris worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco and in Cyber Security. Iris has a BSc in Electricity and Computer Engineering from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. Iris is located in Lightricks’ London office.
Iris is passionate about knowledge sharing and mentorship for women in engineering. She is a mentor and ambassador for Baot, with over 6000 members, its Israel’s largest community of senior software engineers, data scientists and researchers created by and for women in tech.
