🌟Marie-Constance Corsi (Inria research scientist at Paris Brain Institute - ARAMIS Lab)
talk title: Improving non-invasive BCI - Contributions of open-source software tools

Agenda (preliminary)
7:00 - 7:15 welcome by ICM and PyLadies Paris
7:15 - 8:00 talk by Marine Gosselin
8:00 - 8:45 talk by Marie-Constance Corsi

🌟Marine Gosselin (Developer Advocate @Taipy)
talk title: Turning your Data/AI algorithms into full web apps in no time with Python
abstract: Who hasn't heard of the "Pilot Syndrome"? 85% of Data Science Pilots remain pilots and do not make it to the production stage. Let's build a production-ready and end-user-friendly Data Science application. 100% python and 100% open source.

  • Phase 1 | Building the GUI: create an interactive and powerful interface in a few lines of code
  • Phase 2 | Integrated back end: Manage your models and pipelines and create scenarios the smart way

🌟Marie-Constance Corsi (Inria research scientist at Paris Brain Institute - ARAMIS Lab)
talk title: Improving non-invasive BCI - Contributions of open-source software tools
abstract: Brain-computer interface (BCI) consists of translating brain activity into commands for control and communication. It brings hope to patients suffering notably from neuromuscular diseases or injuries. Despite its promising applications, mastering a BCI remains a learned skill and a non-negligible portion of users (15-30%) cannot control the device even after several training sessions. In this talk, I will present several ways to address this issue based respectively on machine learning and neurophysiological approaches.
ICM (Paris Brain Institute) will be our host and sponsor of food and drinks during networking session after the talks: Thank you 💚
