Creating a faster crawler

In this talk, we will see how to create a faster crawler. For it,
we will compare the threads, green threads and non blocking I/O with Python. The idea is show the limitations of each.

Introduction to Artistic Programming 1

Art and Programming are two words which are not found together often. Typically programming is used for utility - to make a process faster, more reliant or cheaper. In today's talk, we will use Python and the Processing framework to begin exploring how programming too can be used as means for an artistic end, by creating ten simple works of art in under an hour, using only code.

For this talk, we will be using the Processing Framework, in Python Mode. You can download Processing from here: https://processing.org/download/, then download Python Mode from within it once it is installed.

Note: doors close at 7:15pm - contact one of the maintainers through meetup chat or on telegram if you come later please.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
