Python Presentation Night @ Improving & Virtual (PPN #137)

We hope you can join us in person at Improving (or virtually) to meet fellow Python enthusiasts, have some pizza, and learn.

7:00 - Networking - Socialize and enjoy pizza and soft drinks. Please grab a name tag when you arrive and sign the guest list (helps with planning for space and pizza and future events).

7:30 - Formal program (in-person and online)

• Feel free to bring any brief Python tidbits, experiences, or job openings you'd like to share with the group as time permits between speakers.

Questions will be collected from the Google Meet chat or Slack #general channel and answered live.

At a past meetup there was some suggestions of possible talks related to a college Python/AI project, using GitHub Copilot, Geopandas, and others, for example.

9:00 - Wrap up and Disperse

• Happy Hour! Join us for happy hour after the meeting for further merriment and discussions of Python. We'll be meeting nearby at Sociable Cider Werks; details at the meeting.

• Please be sure to RSVP on meetup and note whether you will attend in-person so we can plan for food/beverages. Please cancel/modify your RSVP if your plans change to wait-listed members have the opportunity to attend.
• Location (in person): Improving, 1515 Central Ave NE #100, Minneapolis, MN 55413. Parking in the rear (or front). Please look for signs to the meeting room. Please also see Parking at Improving Minneapolis.
• Laptops encouraged. WiFi available. If you are attending in-person, you will still be able to connect to the Google Meet session if desired for the chat window, etc.
