🎤 " Revolutionizing Machine Learning with Federated Learning using Python and the Flower Framework." - In this talk, we will delve into the world of federated learning with Python and explore the Flower framework. The focus will be on implementation strategies, FL algorithms, hyperparameters, challenges, and how to cope with them. We will discuss the benefits of using federated learning, and how it can be used to train machine learning models using decentralized data sources, without compromising data privacy.

📖 Ali is a working student data scientist at ZEISS Munich. He has a background in computer science and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Engineering and Analytics at TUM. Ali has experience in software engineering and machine learning, with practical experience in federated learning, NLP, and time series data.

🎤 "Building Data Science Apps with Streamlit - Fast and Easy."- Streamlit is a framework to create interactive web applications with minimal overhead. You need no experience in web development, HTML, or Javascript. For teams building data science applications and seeking to deploy their work quickly, Streamlit is a very empowering framework. Within Allianz Global Investors, the team has adopted Streamlit to decomission existing legacy frontends, and release new ones, and they are very happy with the results. In the talk Tomas will present the Streamlit concepts and highlight its power and simplicity.

📖Tomas is a senior software engineer at Allianz Global Investors, where he builds backend infrastructure and libraries for derivatives trading and hedging of investment risk, both in Python and in C#. He has the most fun with mathematical problems and quantitative code. In the past, he worked in startups in field of energy pricing, and worked as a full-stack freelancer.
