Join Pyowa on Tuesday, May 26th from 5:30 to 7pm for a special Lightning Talks edition featuring speakers from the local Python and technology community!

Michael Driscoll will present “Textual-cogs Lightning Talk,” a quick look at one of his open source Python projects. Michael has been writing Python since 2006, contributes to the Python community through his blog “The Mouse vs The Python,” and has written multiple books on Python topics ranging from Jupyter Notebook to image processing. He is also a member of the Python Software Foundation.

Jonathan Stoner from Source Allies will present “ESP32 IoT Devices,” an introduction to getting started with ESP32-based IoT device networks. Jonathan designs and deploys Gen AI systems at Source Allies and is also the founder of Essence Games LLC.

Craig Lien from Cisco Systems will also be speaking. Craig is a Senior Software Consulting Engineer with deep experience in Internet and MPLS technologies and is a regular contributor to Python, DevOps, and InfraGard user groups.

Hosted in person at Source Allies and streamed online. Food and drinks will be provided for in-person attendees.
