Hello Pythoneers!

Nick Thompson is presenting tonight's talk: Although THREE.js is no longer new, it isn't going stale, being on of the most starred github repositories and receiving hundreds of pull requests every week. Although getting started with THREE.js is easy, getting to proficiency is much more difficult. In this talk we'll learn how to embed THREE.js in an app, create gui components, and build graphics your users will love. As a side effect, we'll be forced to level up our knowledge of the DOM API, Javascript and CSS, as THREE.js will challenge us on all fronts of the webstack.

Python? Code generation is performed using Django templates, and NumPy creates the 3D scenes.

NEW LOCATION: Our meetup is located at the Black Labrador Pub, near Richmond and Montrose. Please enjoy their menu and drink offerings, so they continue to enjoy hosting us! Lastly, please RSVP (even if you're a "Maybe"!) to assist us with capacity planning.

Share your Lightning Talks! A "lightning talk" is a quick mini-presentation (5 minutes maximum) on any Python topic you'd like. We'll save time for 2-3 of these each month: to save a spot, post a comment with your talk's title/topic. Beginner topics are always welcome!

Presentations Wanted: If you'd like to share a topic with the group at an upcoming, let's talk!
