Using .NET assemblies from CPython with Python.NET --- PyHou Monthly Meetup

Details
Hello Pythoneers!
Denis Akhiyarov, a core developer for Python for .NET (pythonnet) (https://github.com/pythonnet/pythonnet) will present this month's talk. Python for .NET (pythonnet) (https://github.com/pythonnet/pythonnet) is a package that gives Python programmers nearly seamless integration with the .NET 4.0+ Common Language Runtime (CLR) on Windows and Mono runtime on Linux and OSX. Python for .NET provides a powerful application scripting tool for .NET developers. Using this package you can script .NET applications or build entire applications in Python, using .NET services and components written in any language that targets the CLR (C#, VB.NET, F#, C++/CLI).
VENUE AND SPONSOR: Decisio Health -- https://decisiohealth.com/
We will be meeting at Decisio Health's new office at 3900 Essex Ln. Suite #600 Houston, TX 77027, on the sixth floor. Decisio Health is excited to sponsor the Python Meetup, and we are excited to welcome this new venue opportunity.
FOOD/DRINK: Refreshments to-be-announced; watch this space. If you have alternate preferences, please feel free to bring your own (perhaps from Central Market, next door).
Note that air conditioning ends and custodial services begin at 9:00pm. Feel free to mingle afterwards, however we need to exit the office itself before 9:30pm so office staff can go home to their families.
PARKING: Plenty of marked VISITOR spots are available in the garage. Please DO NOT use "Reserved" parking, especially "Reserved Kelsey-Seybold" parking. (Parking at Central Market is also possible but "at your own risk" regarding their towing policies).
Share your Lightning Talks! A "lightning talk" is a quick mini-presentation (5 minutes maximum) on any Python topic you'd like. We'll save time for 2-3 of these each month: to save a spot, post a comment with your talk's title/topic. Beginner topics are always welcome!
Presentations Wanted: If you'd like to share a topic with the group at an upcoming, let's talk!
